Epiphany

Epiphany comes from a Greek word for manifestation or appearance. The Epiphany of Jesus is the Lord’s gracious appearance to His people with signs and wonders and favors given at His own expense. Epiphany always begins on January 6th. The length of the season depends on the date of Easter. The last Sunday in Epiphany is Transfiguration Sunday.
