This Sunday is Palm Sunday, marking the entrance into Holy Week. The lessons for the day:
The Bronze Serpent (Numbers 21:4-9)
Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, (Matthew 21:1-11) and
Jesus’ Humiliation and Exaltation (Philippians 2:5-11)
all weave together to preview Holy Week and what it means for our salvation. Children present for the service are invited to proceed in with the pastor carrying palm branches to lay at the foot of the altar.
